William Goddard
"Edward's seventh son, William, came over to New England in 1765 and, in the following year, was joined by his wife and three sons, William, Joseph and Robert, who were the survivors of a family of six children born in London. William, the father, had his home in Watertown, Mass. and there six other children were born to him and his wife, Elizabeth (Miles), three of whom died in childhood while three sons, Benjamin, Josiah and Edward, survived him.
