She-Wolves: England's Early Queens

PBS is airing a series of programs about English Queens.  The first program featured Miranda, daughter of Henry I and her daughter-in-law Eleanor Of Aquitaine.
Miranda married Geoffrey Plantagenet and after his death tried to fulfill her Father's wish, since there were no male heirs, that she become Queen of England.  Opposition was too great and she resolved to see her son become King of England.  That mission was accomplished when Henry Plantagenet II became England's King.  He married Eleanor Of Aquitaine.  Eleanor was very active in the running of the English government after Henry II's death and while her son, Richard The Lion Heart, was off on crusades.

Why the interest in this PBS series?
Miranda is Roscoe Hastings 22nd Great Grandmother.
Eleanor Of Aquitaine is Roscoe Hastings 21st Great Grandmother.
