The 1841 British Census shows the following family at Hawkington Farm, cottage adjoining, in Cutcombe,
Somerset, England.  John Priscott, age 80, Ann, age 47, James, age 19, William, age 15, Jane, age 8,
Robert, age 6 and Matthew, age 2.  George Vaulter also resides with this family.  He is the husband of
Mary Priscott.  A Henry Priscott, age 13, is listed at the next residence as a Male Servant.  A Thomas
Priscott, age 13, is listed a the nearby James Gooding residence as a Male Servant.
John Prescott was married to Anne Baker before he married Anne Widlake.  He had children in this marrage but I have not been able to identify them.  Mary Ann Sage always said she had a sister older than her which was probably a half sister from this previous marriage.
John was the Father of Matthew.  I have seen that and all other baptismal records.
