New and tragic information

Asa Hastings and Anna Goddard were married 11 August 1816 in Dunham, Quebec, Canada.  Until this week I believed that Spooner, born July 1817, was their only child until Jonas was born 13 October 1824.  I received part of a poem from Cousin Kevin Hastings this week.  It states that there were two daughters, Phoebe and Mary, born before 1822.  As you can see in the partial poem they died in a fire on 8 July 1822.  The son Spooner also died a tragic death after  falling into a vat of boiling water during hog butchering in January 1824.
